Chris Smith Brand Design
Chris approached Bartlett Creative to develop a personal brand to implement on social and web. His new brand was heavily influenced by personal passions, family, his work with various non-profit organizations and his newfound passion for cycling.
We approached this brand and graphic design project with a focus on minimalist graphic practices, while relying heavily on typography and a bright color palette. We created a custom S icon which unifies Chris’ passions and shows movement throughout. Through typography, we created a custom logotype which serves as a double read for his name. The typography direction was heavily influenced by clean Swiss typography and the cycling industry. It was important to make sure this brand design worked across all platforms from social to video, print to apparel. The vast color palette allowed the brand to be flexible in delivery, while remaining consistent with graphic and typography applications. Overall, we produced a brand that was creative, adaptable and reflective of our client's passions and personality.
