Life on Life Brand Update
The Life on Life Project run by David C Cook in Colorado Springs approached Bartlett Creative to help with updating their brand and identity presence. At the time, they were using two different logos in various places across websites, social media, print collateral and other graphic design applications. This became an in-house branding problem and also was confusing for consumers and brand perception in America and worldwide.
We had to maintain brand colors, per the brand guidelines, but had freedom to explore typography and a new icon system. While we designed various new logo icons and options, we ultimately landed on a refreshed version of their current icon. We added some dimension to the newly refined icon and unified the lockup by choosing a typeface that provided an overall visual balance. Brands don't always need a new logo and for Life on Life a simple brand refresh and update was the best choice!
