Axon Body 4

Context
Body cameras are a mature category. Every new model gets called better, and most launches end up as a list of features nobody remembers. Axon Body 4 was a real step forward: a sharper 5MP sensor, a 160° field of view, a battery that lasts a full shift, an optional Flex POV camera, and two-way communication with live streaming from the officer’s vest. The launch needed to turn all of that into one idea that agency leaders and officers would both remember.

Approach
We built a platform instead of a feature list. One word carried the whole launch: MORE. Four is the version number. MORE is the promise. “Four means MORE” made the product name a platform, and every headline, channel and team worked from it. The visual system runs in two moods with one set of rules. A dark, cinematic version for awareness and a light, technical version for proof, tied together by Axon Yellow and a signature ring motif that suggests capture, signal and connection.

Digital

Built for every screen. Engineered to convert.

The MORE platform ran as an omnichannel digital launch, so the story held together from first impression to final purchase. Paid search, display and paid social ads put Axon Body 4 in front of agency leaders and decision makers. Organic social on LinkedIn and Instagram built anticipation before launch and kept people engaged after it. Email campaigns, webinar promotion and customer-facing tools gave sales teams ready-to-use assets for every stage of the buyer’s journey. Even Zoom backgrounds and email signatures carried the campaign, turning every customer call and internal meeting into another touchpoint. One visual system and one message across every channel made this a product launch campaign that felt connected and premium, and stayed unmistakably Axon.

Photography

Real people. Precision product.

The visual story ran on two tracks. Lifestyle photography put Axon Body 4 where it belongs: on the vest, in the field and on duty. We art directed authentic, gritty, close-cropped moments with real gear, real textures and real context, so officers saw themselves in the work and agencies saw the camera in action. Industrial design product renders delivered the precision. Built directly from Axon’s ID files, the 3D renders captured every surface, lens and detail with studio-level control, from floating hero angles to the modular Flex POV attachment. Lifestyle images built the emotional connection and the ID renders built credibility, and together they gave every channel a premium, launch-ready library of images. That covered the homepage hero, paid social, print and sales enablement.

Video & Motion

Made to move. Built to launch.

Motion gave MORE its pulse. The hero launch film introduced Axon Body 4 with cinematic, product-first storytelling: dramatic lighting, precise camera moves and the signature ring motif expanding outward like a signal from the core of the device. Before launch, animated social teasers and kinetic typography cycled through what MORE stood for (accountability, visibility, resolution, communication, power, data, protection) and built momentum toward the 04.11.23 reveal. The motion system then scaled across every channel: social cutdowns, paid video ads, homepage animation, webinar openers, event screens and looping sales content. Every frame came from the same visual language, so the launch felt alive, connected and unmistakably Axon on every screen.
