Axon Body Mini

Context
Axon builds the connected technology behind modern public safety, and Axon Body Mini extends that same protection to frontline workers in retail and healthcare, employees facing rising levels of violence and verbal abuse simply for showing up to work. Healthcare staff alone account for nearly half of all nonfatal workplace violence injuries despite making up a tenth of the U.S. workforce, and close to 60% of retail security teams report witnessing violence on the job. Axon Body Mini answers that with a lightweight, unobtrusive body camera built around a one touch panic button, live location tracking, two way communication, and live-streaming, all backed by 12+ hours of battery life and simple, pooled device management. Independent trials have shown body worn cameras like it cut violence and verbal abuse incidents by an average of 37%.

Approach
Introducing Axon Body Mini, a launch campaign built to stop the scroll, disrupt the space, and spotlight a premier technology built to protect workforces. Working closely with Axon's product and sales teams, the creative approach centered on showing the device exactly as it’s worn: on shift, in real retail and healthcare environments. Photography by Stephen Cardinale captured the hardware with the same precision Axon brings to its public safety line, while motion from Ben Gillespie and Superside translated that discipline into movement, showing the panic button, live-streaming, and two way communication in action rather than describing them. Gabi McKenzie’s design system carried that clarity through every touchpoint, and Clint McFarlin’s web build gave the launch a home built for speed and focus. The result was a visually striking, distraction free campaign that balanced bold technical precision with an authentic, human touch.
