Food & Drink Photography
Context
Food is the fastest way into a place. A plate, a pour or a smoky pit tells you more about a culture than any landmark. Brands know it too. The right image can make someone taste a wine before they open it, or plan a road trip around a barbecue joint. This collection brings together commercial and editorial work for wineries, breweries, restaurants and hospitality brands alongside the meals and makers I’ve found on the road, from Memphis barbecue to Great Divide Brewing in Denver.
Approach
I shoot food and drink the same way I shoot everything else: natural light, real settings, simple beauty. No sterile studio sweeps. Wine bottles sit on bold color or in the garden they came from. Pizza gets photographed mid-pull, with the cheese still falling. Barbecue gets shot at the pit, with gloves on and smoke in the air. Product shots are styled as still life, and the restaurant and brewery work shows the spaces, signs and people that make each place its own. The collection covers product, lifestyle, interiors and events, from a dinner party under string lights to a wedding plate in hand. The common thread is appetite: every frame should make you want to be there.
